Oktoberfest Recipes – 40 traditional specialties

Bratwurst rolls


  • 6 pieces of sausage
  • 2 spoons of butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bottle of beer
  • 6 bread rolls
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter! Add the onion and fry for 5 minutes. Then put the bratwurst in the pan and pour the beer in it! Cook at a lower temperature for 30-40 minutes by stirring the mixture. It's done when the beer evaporates. Take the onion away and set it aside! Roast the bratwurst until it is ready and on all sides. Serve the sausage in the rolls with the onion! If desired, combine with cabbage!

potato salad


  • 1 kg of small potato
  • 3 pieces of cracked sausage
  • 2 spoons of olive oil
  • 6 gherkins
  • 200 g. mayonnaise
  • 200 g. Sour cream
  • 3 eggs

Boil the potato for 10 minutes! Peel these and put them in a large bowl! Then fry the crackers for 5 minutes, slice them and add to the potatoes along with the gherkins. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and olive oil and pour over the salad. Stir the mixture! In the end, lay the boiled eggs and salt to taste. Good Appetite!
